MICHAEL PICCO
INTRODUCTION
Michael Picco is an award-winning author based in Colorado. He has been hooked on horror since third grade, when he was first exposed to the works of H.P. Lovecraft. His writing has since been influenced by authors such as Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Stephen R. Donaldson, Karl E. Waggoner, Craig Spector, and John Skipp. Over the last ten years, Michael has contributed to nearly twenty anthologies and has also produced two short-story collections and a full-length novel. His work has been appeared in the U.S. and abroad and has received accolades for its nuanced and unsettling style of story telling.

Michael received his B.A. in English from Western State College in Colorado. He is a member of the Denver Horror Collective, and the Colorado Independent Publishers Association. He is currently working on These Wretched Bones, his third collection of strange and macabre tales (anticipated release 2024-2025).
